Job Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for various Ritchie Brothers entities. The Analyst will carry out accurate and timely financial reporting while working with various stakeholders in the organization to obtain insights to execute on deliverables. The Financial Analyst will be expected to contribute to and support key initiatives including standardization and process improvements. This is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC location.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for various Ritchie Brothers entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while collaborating with stakeholders to obtain insights.
- Support key initiatives including standardization and process improvements.
- Prepare and comment on the Balance Sheet and Net Income Statements.
- Review & prepare month-end journal entries.
- Prepare variance analysis – P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations and compliance reporting.
- Ensure full SOX compliance, including IPEs and WPs.
- Adhere to Corporate Accounting Policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
