Bitmoji is the digital you - a living cartoon character to instantly express who you are and how you're feeling, in the moment. We believe that the magic of cartoons can improve everyone's online lives and empower people to communicate in ways that words alone can't capture.

We're looking for a 3D Technical Animator to join the Bitmoji team at Snap Inc!

What you'll do :

• Animation of 3D Characters and props in Autodesk Maya performed in accordance with time limits based on storyboards, draft cut and instructions of project lead
• Diagnose and fix problems as related to animation processes
• Support the development of tools that optimize animation production processes
• Collaborate with concept artists, storyboard artists, modelers, VFX artists, prototypers, and engineers
• Rig a wide range of props and character rigs using Autodesk Maya
• Painting of skin weights for deformation
• Collaborate with artists, animators, and engineers to ensure assets meet technical needs
• Help troubleshoot and QA animation and technical issues for assets to move through the pipeline
