The Role We are looking for an Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our head office team in Swift Current. This role focuses on payroll and accounting functions. This an opportunity to use your financial and analytical skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, analysis and verification of accounting records, financial statements and reports.
- Assist divisions with the completion of their roles and responsibilities relating to finance.
- Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations.
- Process AP & AR in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure that all transactions are kept current, recorded accurately, and processed efficiently.
- Complete data mining & analysis.
- Record and process employee expense reports and reconcile credit card statements.
Qualifications
1 year of accounting experience in an accounting or financial management role.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including in Word, Excel and Outlook.Preference will be given to a candidate that has experience with QuickBooks / accounting software, and MRP or ERP systems.Ability to work independently with discretion and confidentiality.Assets
