Financial Controller

We are conducting an exclusive search on behalf of an international distribution and manufacturing business, seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support the financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AR / AP, international trade finance, financial analysis, and operational reporting. While consolidated financial statements are prepared by the parent company, this role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial data to support that process.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring timely collections, vendor payments, and accurate reconciliations.
• Manage financial operations related to international trade, including import / export documentation, duties, freight charges, and compliance with cross-border financial requirements.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, margin analysis, and performance dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Provide all required financial data and supporting schedules to the parent company to facilitate financial statement preparation.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and landed-cost tracking for imported lighting products.
• Ensure internal controls, financial policies, and compliance standards are upheld.
• Work closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve financial processes.
• Utilize and help optimize the company’s ERP system and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks or related accounting platforms.
