Pricing Analyst

About the Role

Reporting to the Director Revenue Strategy, the Analyst Pricing is accountable for executing all pricing functions for an assigned segment to capture value through improved yield, margin, and volume growth. This role is a key contributor to Trimac’s efforts to achieve annual revenue budget, accelerate speed-to-market, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth. The ideal candidate must reside in Edmonton.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue daily truck-line quotes, price proposals and bids, analytics for contract renewals.
• Develop, recommend and execute price strategies and proposals which consider and reconcile : competitive assessments, product and capacity scenarios, target-market opportunities, and performance targets.
• Prepare revenue and profitability impact analysis as required on proposals and strategy.
• Develop and present optimized pricing recommendations to decision makers by working cross-functionally to obtain financial, costing, sales, operational and segmentation inputs.
• Engage, build, and maintain relationships cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Rate Administration.
• Conduct ex-post analysis to measure segment / business performance to established benchmarks and forecasts.
• Contribute to the development of annual and monthly revenue and volume budgets and forecasts; and monitor business performance against said forecasts.
