Equipment Application Engineer

Within the Water Tech Business, the Equipment Application Engineer plans and carries out activities related to the design, development, estimation, and sale of pretreatment equipment (John Meunier), chemical preparation and dosing, and stormwater management (Hydrovex). The role supports sales teams and presents technical and commercial challenges in a competitive environment with respect for deadlines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Evaluates and validates equipment application in relation to clients’ needs.
• Prepares selections, estimates, and technical‑commercial proposals.
• Produces technical documents (specifications, technical sheets).
• Partakes in product and tool development.
• Supports and collaborates with other company departments.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing field.
• Computer skills: AutoCAD, Office, Google Drive.

Additional Requirements

Bilingualism in French and English is essential with advanced English proficiency for communication with suppliers and clients outside Quebec. Willingness to travel in North America (10%).
