Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical)

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Mechanical) to join our client's team and support the reliability and performance of their manufacturing operations in Scarborough, ON. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting expertise, a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Pay Rate : $41 / hour.

Location : Scarborough, ON

Shift : Monday-Thursday 4 : 30pm-1 : 00am and Friday 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm

Job type : Permanent | Full-time Responsibilities :

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment

Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime

Execute preventive maintenance programs and conduct regular equipment inspections

Assist with installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications of equipment

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and reports

Analyze complex technical problems and make sound, independent decisions

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team while communicating clearly with stakeholders Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Completion of a four-year university program plus a one-year apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering

3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with proven troubleshooting abilities

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
