Robot Operator

Job description

HireArt is helping our client find Robot Operators to join its team at an early and exciting stage of the company’s growth. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, product, and research. Your feedback will directly influence product direction, system capabilities, and operational workflows.

You’re comfortable working in fast-moving, hands-on environments, are detail-oriented, and can clearly communicate technical observations. You’re excited to contribute directly to the advancement of robotics.

As a Robot Operator, you will :

• Safely operate physical and simulated robotic prototypes for extended periods of time using virtual reality headsets and controllers.
• Collect data to improve the company's models by demonstrating tasks and evaluating autonomous behavior.
• Execute data collection missions on onsite company and offsite deployed locations.
• Provide clear, accurate, and actionable feedback to engineering and development teams to support product improvement and issue resolution.
• Represent the company and its technology in a professional manner when interacting with customers, partners, or investors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robotic systems.
• Set up, tear down, and maintain robot testing equipment and environments.
• Operate company vehicles to transport equipment between onsite and offsite locations.
• Participate in projects to improve tools, workflows, or operational processes.

Commitment : This is a full-time, 12-month contract position staffed via HireArt. This position will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Cambridge, MA area.
