Locations : Winnipeg & Surrounding Area

Contract Term : May 4 2026 to August 30 2026 (option to start earlier if available)

Hours : Full time (40 / week)

Compensation : $41600 per annum

Work Schedule : Tuesdays through Saturdays evenings as needed

We are currently recruiting one Summer Event intern that will support both the Event Marketing and Sales teams in this role you will be supporting Events and Activations initiatives as well as supporting field sales under one of the fastest growing beverage alcohol companies in Canada. As the brands frontliners youll play a pivotal role in promoting our exciting new product lineup by driving trial and creating memorable brand experiences at various field marketing events and addition you will gain exposure and experience in a field sales environment. Youll also have the opportunity to sell and merchandise our entire portfolio of brands including Nude Slappys and Cottage Springs. Job Responsibilities :

  • Supporting our district manager in Manitoba
  • Traveling to several retail outlets assisting with sell-in programming merchandising and transferring of products ( note : company vehicle will be provided) Some travel outside Winnipeg may be required and some overnight stays may be required.
  • Primary focus will be expanding our reach and presence in the beer vendors promoting our new innovations and increasing our current portfolio distribution within this sector
  • Conducting consumer samplings at retail stores local community events golf courses and patios
  • Completing routine daily management (CRM logging team & communication reporting etc)
  • Be the face of the brand and engage with consumers at a range of XM activations and events including concerts festivals golf tournaments private gatherings street samplings and more
  • Drive trial of our beverage portfolio and new products launching in 2026 to help hit key sampling targets and promote innovation SKUs.
  • Assist with the preparation set up execution and tear down of events and activations which includes regularly lifting items that can be 25 lbs
  • Create weekly pre and post-event reports to track sampling numbers consumer feedback and event recaps

Job Requirements and Competencies :

  • Valid Smart Choices Certificate Required
  • Based in Winnipeg
  • Interest in a sales or marketing career
  • Able to lift stack and carry up to 25lbs of product at a time
  • Comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time
  • The ultimate team player
  • Previous sales customer service events merchandising and / or hospitality experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills internally and with external customers
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to take direction while also being a great independent problem-solver and work autonomously
  • Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract

  • Schedule :

    Per your seasonal contract you will be required to work evenings and weekends. Due to the nature of our sales needs every week might look different and the majority of your working hours may not fall on the same days each week. Although this is not your typical 9-5 job you will gain first hand experience working for Canadas fastest growing beverage alcohol company. Emphasize weekend time slot availability is a must (Thurs Fri Sat)

    Important Note : This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the alcohol sales industry but will require you to perform some physical labor as detailed above.
