Opportunity for CEGEP or University Students

We are excited to present an opportunity specifically for CEGEP or university students! We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team, available for 8 hours per week. This can be scheduled as one full day or two shifts of 4 hours each.

The working hours must fall between 9 : 00 AM and 3 : 00 PM. If you are a motivated student seeking valuable experience while managing your studies, we encourage you to apply!

Summary of the role

The facilities caretaker is responsible for the office maintenance at the head office.

The following responsibilities form the core of this role :

  • Manage decluttering office space ;
  • Assist with filing, organizing boxes, removing unused binders ;
  • Regularly verify, clean and tidy the following areas : conference rooms, kitchenette, mail room, printing area and washrooms ;
  • Test audiovisual equipment in all conference rooms ;
  • Verify regularly paper and ink cartridge of all printers, refill and replace as needed ;
  • Once a month, make sure that there are the necessary printing paper varieties in all printer rooms and advise when paper is running low ;
  • Check paper and ink cartridges supplies for all floors and inform the person in charge of orders, if necessary ;
  • Remove, bundle and dispose of unneeded cardboard from the print shop and other areas for recycling;
  • Recover unused computer equipment and return it to IT ;
  • Empty and clean cubicles, working tables and filing cabinets ;
  • Assist in the removal or replacement of cubicle divisions and move furniture as needed.

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in commercial cleaning or administrative tasks ;
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs ;
