The UGDSB is situated on the ancestral treaty and title lands of two Anishinaabek Ojibwe Nations: the Michi Saagig of the Credit and the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. This land also includes a specified tract of land granted to the Six Nations of the Grand River. These Nations hold legal and specific rights in their respective territories. THE OPPORTUNITY

The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our elementary teaching team for the following opportunity:

Position Details: Long Term Occasional Assignment Planning 0.2FTE

Location: Minto-Clifford

Rate of Pay : $52974.00 - $119975.00 per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1 2025

Effective Date: Immediately- unknown not to exceed June 26 2026

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school the Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well-being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
