Job description

Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth? Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding their presence in the GTA within foodservice and chain account sectors. This is a high-impact role where your efforts will directly contribute to the company’s growth and success.

What You’ll Do :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations and help structure agreements to maximize value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production, and operations to ensure business goals are achieved.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to make informed recommendations.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings, enhancing the company brand.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 3+ years of business development or sales experience in the food service or institutional markets, ideally with a focus on Seafood / Fisheries / Meat
  • Proven ability to develop business relationships and present compelling proposals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach.
