Job descriptionCalculate and prepare cheques for payroll Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans Prepare monthly statements Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans Maintain payroll Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems Prepare T4 statements and other statements Attention to detail Work under pressure Tight deadlines Accurate Excellent oral communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Supports newcomers and / or refugees with foreign credential recognition Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Provides cultural competency training and / or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities Entry level Full-time Human Resources Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing
