Production Helper

Job duties and responsibilities:

The shop helper is responsible for assisting production team with the following activities:

• Masking preparation for powder coating
• Orbital sanding(grinding or buffing)
• Hardware insertion
• Packaging shipments
• Cleaning shop stations
• Other general labour activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in metal shop or other industrial / trades work is an advantage
• Must be detail oriented, hard working, and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Must be a fast learner
• Must be good listener and follow directions.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work individually or as a team, with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Committed and reliable worker
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must own steel toe boots as safety equipment
