Taylor MacLellan Cochrane is a well-established, full-service law firm with offices in Windsor and Kentville, Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking an experienced property paralegal to join our Kentville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a collegial environment with a busy and respected real estate team.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive paralegal support to lawyers practising in residential and commercial real estate. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage files independently from opening to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing residential and commercial real estate files from intake to completion
• Preparing conveyancing documents, deeds, mortgages, and related instruments
• Liaising with clients, financial institutions, municipal offices, and land registration offices
• Handling closings, trust accounting matters, and post-closing reporting
• Maintaining accurate and organized electronic and paper files
• Supporting lawyers with general real estate-related matters as required
