Employment Equity Consultant


We are actively seeking Employment Equity Consultants. The ideal candidates are senior EE professionals with a minimum of 5 years experience within the federal government or private sector.


Daily Tasks and Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Coordinating and providing advice on employment equity (EE), diversity and duty to accommodate (DTA) programs
• Conducting reviews, developing implementation strategies
• Developing training and information sessions about EE
• Providing mentoring and coaching assistance about EE
• Developing pool of diversified members to participate in evaluation and assessment, developing tools to ensure adapted language in work description and selection tools as well as advertisement representative of Canadian culture and diversity
• Researching and developing EE and diversity related programs, tools and identifying and implementing related activities
• Conducting system reviews and making recommendations
• Developing policies, guidelines, procedures, programs and tools

Desired Skills and Experience (must be clearly demonstrated in Resume/CV)

• University Degree or Certification in a related field;
• A minimum of five (5) cumulative years for Intermediate and ten (10) cumulative years for Senior of demonstrated employment equity experience within the Federal Government of Canada including departments and agencies and/or private sector;

Security Clearance
Candidates must be eligible for a valid Government of Canada security clearance to a minimum of Level I - Enhanced Reliability.
