As Controller, you’ll oversee financial operations across the organization, including both Guelph and Brantford facilities . You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, guide a dedicated finance team, and ensure the organization remains financially strong, agile, and future-focused.
Key Responsibilities :
Reporting —prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports
Budgeting —drive impactful budgeting by coordinating planning, execution, and variance analysis to guide smarter financial decisions
Oversight —lead and streamline the management of A / P, A / R, inventory, and fixed assets to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy
Costing —develop in-depth cost analyses to evaluate profitability and support strategic pricing and production decision
Compliance —ensure full regulatory compliance by preparing and maintaining thorough documentation for all relevant government agencies
Leadership —guide a high-performing team of 4, fostering growth, collaboration, and excellence across all financial functions
Tax —determine monthly current and deferred income tax provisions to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications :
CPA designated is a must
Solid financial leadership experience in ideally small to mid-sized manufacturing environments
Strong cost accounting skills, including analysis, margin optimization, and the development of pricing strategies
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance teams in fast-paced, evolving environments
Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
