Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel is seeking a Part-time Cafeteria Attendant. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, supporting the company’s vision, mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Excellent internal and external customer service skills displayed at all times.
• Prepare items pertaining to cafeteria and quick serve menus.
• Pick up items from the kitchen upon notification of their readiness.
• Solid understanding of the P.O.S. system, including Shift Changing Procedures, opening and closing procedures, and cash settlement.
• Complete and maintain daily and weekly cleaning lists.
• Organize and store supplies such as dishes, condiments and cleaning supplies; maintain consistent stocking for efficient accessibility during shift changes.
• Notify the kitchen in a timely manner by radio and / or phone of any cooked products needed and plan accordingly to ensure ample stock levels during breaks.
• Maintain levels of products required in designated storage areas for the cooks to ensure efficient preparation of cafeteria and quick serve items.
• Maintain cleanliness of all counters, tables in the break room, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with duties for the cooks and stewards as required.
• Perform other duties as required by the Sous Chef.

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Hours of work will be based on operational needs.
