Role Description

The Bilingual Montessori Guide for Elementary (6–12) will be responsible for leading a bilingual classroom, providing guidance aligned with Montessori principles, and fostering an environment where children ages 6 to 12 can thrive. Daily tasks include lesson planning and preparation, facilitating individualized and group learning experiences, maintaining a well-prepared classroom environment, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ottawa, ON.

Qualifications

• AMI Montessori certification and experience working with elementary-aged children (6–12).
• Fluency in both English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Effective classroom management skills, the ability to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, and collaboration with a team.
• Experience with lesson planning, individualized learning strategies, and creative curriculum design.
• Dedication to fostering social-emotional and academic development in children, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; experience in bilingual or Montessori educational settings is an asset.
