Cafe Quattro located at the Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for Baristas.
We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!
What will you be doing?
Greet guests in a friendly, engaging manner and assist with drink/food recommendations Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage making equipment Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Operate the POS for processing customer transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and serving areas Uphold food safety standards in food handling and preparation Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards.
Have full and complete knowledge of all menus Ability to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way.
Additional duties as assigned by Management What are we looking for?
Previous experience working as a Barista Serving it Right Certificate Experience working in the food service industry preferred Food & Beverage knowledge an asset Exceptional organization with attention to accuracy and problem-solving ability Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
Team player, with willingness to learn new concepts and ideas.
Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask.
Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time.
