Job descriptionGood communication with co-workers in a collaborative team environment Develop and maintain a regular cleaning schedule to ensure the machine shop is kept tidy and well organized upon completion of work assignments Attributes and Skills Able to work autonomously and uses good decision-making practices Organizational and planning skills Good written and verbal communication skills Minimum 5 years experience with operation of CNC Accupress experience preferred Understand and perform safe work practices Overhead crane training an asset Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs - fitness test required Standing on your feet for a long period of time Have good eye to hand coordination Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day Days - Monday to Friday 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm Afternoons - Monday – Thursday 4 : 00 pm – 2 : 30 am (Shift Premium $3.00) When our shop is busy, overtime is scheduled and expected Competitive Wages Extended Health Care & Dental Benefits AD&D, Life and STD Disability Benefits Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)

The Brake Press Operator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities
- Operation of an AccuPress CNC brake
- Read drawings
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Meticulously organized and ability to keep a clean workspace
- Quick to learn new skills
- Strong attention to detail
