Project Manager / Construction Site Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Superintendent to lead a renovation to convert an existing commercial building to create 39 apartments. This is a developing contract position growing to full time as the project begins. The project site is located in downtown Niagara Falls.

You have proven experience completing residential conversion projects with quality results and in a fiscally responsible manner. Likely a role for about 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Proactively plan, schedule and manage the construction project
• Manage the entire lifecycle of the project, ranging from pre-construction to close-out
• Bid, coordinate and oversee subcontractors and contractor agreements.
• Engage and apply policies and procedures for quality control and safety, including planning and inspections.
• Track all project costs to ensure project to ensure target budget is met or exceeded on assigned construction projects
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Motivate, lead and work with various team players, including consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors, trades people, field employees and suppliers
• Maintain construction records and logs.
