Description
My client is a unique P&C insurance brokerage and is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager who is interested in joining one of the top 10 insurance brokerages in the world and the fastest growing in industry history! The account manager is responsible for customer relationships and is directly responsible for the preservation of their customer base using their commercial insurance knowledge.
Position : Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location : Work from home anywhere in Canada
Responsibilities
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Assists clients with making coverage changes in an automated environment; uses each contact with the client as an opportunity to review the whole account, round it and market.
- Reviews audits of policies, verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between client and carrier.
- Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages in coordination with Advisor
- Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review
- Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verify accuracy and forward to client with appropriate correspondence.
- Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts; notifies Advisor(s) according to agency standards.
- Actively solicits increase in coverage and rounds accounts through sales to clients; leaves good documentation of all contacts.
- Review client contracts for insurance requirements. and compare to policy to ensure contract complies.
- Discuss discrepancies with client and submit changes to carrier.
Requirements
2+ years of brokerage experience with commercial lines as an Account Manager or CSRRIBO license in good standingA well-rounded background with different types of commercial accountsProficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent customer relationship skillsOrganized and able to work efficiently and independentlyCompensation : Competitive Salary, Benefits, Education Reimbursement and unique vacation allotment.
