Dental Assistant Opportunity Kamloops

A highly regarded and well-established dental office in Kamloops is seeking a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with one dedicated dentist practicing general dentistry.

Your main responsibilities :

Assisting during a variety of procedures
Taking digital X-rays
Placing rubber dams
Room set-up and sterilization / tear-down
Intraoral scanning for treatments
Child patient recalls

Schedule :

Full-time, including no weekends and no evenings!

Four to five days per week,based on your availability (Monday to Friday; or Tuesday to Friday)

Hours : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM (includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive wage : $28$34 / hour (based on experience and certification)

Requirements for this position :

Candidate must have previous dental experience , either in dental assisting school or work experience in the dental field

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA Level 2) preferred, but not required (Dental Assistants Level 1 / chairside will also be considered).

New graduates are welcome to apply right after dental assisting school!

Positive attitude, team-oriented, strong communication skills

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
