Job Details

Location : Nisku, AB (T9E 8G6)
Work setting : Various locations (On site)
Terms of employment : Seasonal, part‑time
Hours : 15–60 per week, flexible (early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, overtime available)
Salary : $23.00–$28.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Responsibilities

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects

Perform preventive maintenance

Credentials & Certifications

Class 3 / 3F / DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

Documentation Knowledge

Accident or incident reports

Bill of lading

Driver logbook

Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)

Maintenance and repair reports
