The Care Group (“TCG”) offers high quality residential care services to complex care clients in 9 homes throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a  Cook  to join our The Gardens team in Qualicum Beach, B.C.

Shifts : full-time,  10 : 30am – 6 : 30pm, 5 days on 2 days off.

Responsibilities :

• Work with the Dietitian to prepare appropriate menus for the residents
• Lead the kitchen in preparing the main meals
• Order all food and supplies for the kitchen
• Monitor food cost and maintain budget
• Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
• Request feedback from the residents about food preferences and menu development
• Prepare specialized and textured diets
