POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of the Maintenance team, this position is responsible for maintaining our day to day operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

Maintains the cleanliness of plant facilities including but not limited to, lunchrooms, offices, bathrooms, yard, entries / exits etc.

Collects and disposes of used chemicals and crashed cans.

Maintains all garbage bins in the facility.

Performs daily 5S in the compactor room.

Operates equipment while ensuring safety guidelines are met (Forklift

Uses safety guidelines and proper PPE to protect self and reminds others of importance.

Adheres to all established safety practices and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :

Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Comfortable walking behind a sweeper.

Prior experience using a page system / radio considered an asset.

Previous experience operating a forklift considered an asset.
