About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager and Supervisor of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department and in accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the MDR Resource Technician is responsible for implementing, organizing and maintaining equipment write-ups (SOP’s) for MDR patient care and OR surgical instrumentation & equipment. The Technician reviews Manufacturer's Instructions For Use literature in order to approve instrumentation and equipment to be purchased, orders and maintains implant inventory, liaises with the OR regarding equipment, supplies, pick tickets and scheduling issues, creates and updates item master back up list, updates procedure back-up maps and photographs new equipment / instruments for the write-ups.
All responsibilities are carried out in adherence to professional standards, manufacturer’s instructions and departmental policies and procedures. The MDR Tech ensures that the principles and practices that guide our work as NSH such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviors, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships, and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver.

Compensation and Benefits
Medical Device Reprocessing Technician :
$23.46 - $27.92 hourly
