• Position Overview :
• As a Material Handler in the new parts warehouse, you will be responsible for material movements within the facility, as well as shipping / receiving goods to / from other facilities. You will ensure all moves are made in a safe manner and are properly recorded / input into the warehouse management systems. • Job Description :
• Transport and distribute materials and goods
• Receive, pick and stock orders
• Effectively use warehousing software and systems to track movement of goods
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
• Pack and unpack goods
• Install, lash, and secure goods
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
• Qualifications :
• A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher.
• Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck experience is preferred.
• Must be able to prioritize numerous demands and possess good time management skills
• Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum supervision.
• Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Familiar with computer / tablet use; basic understanding of Microsoft suite is preferred
• Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck / forklift certification.
• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator.
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures.
• Note :
• This posting is for a static afternoon shift scheduled Monday – Thursday; 10 hours per day
• Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement

• Hourly Rate : $25.46 - $36.07 / Hour
