Server (Full-time) - Port Perry

Great Blue Heron Casino & Hotel is seeking a Full-time Server! The Server reports to the Food and Beverage Supervisor and is responsible for providing excellent customer service to patrons at all times.

Shift schedule : Mon / Tues Off – 2300‑0700; Gaming Floor Wed – Sun.

Skills

• Excellent internal and external customer service skills displayed at all times.
• Ensure safe and responsible service in all aspects of food and beverage sale and service.
• Comply with all alcohol‑related house policies, practices and Smart Serve guidelines.
• Take drink and food orders and serve patrons.
• Maintain personal cash float and complete cash‑out procedures.
• Settle payments using the SilverWare POS system.
• Clear and set up tables; maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Communicate all beverage‑alcohol activities at break and shift end.
• Regularly clean and sanitize tables, refrigerators, side stands, and stations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of food and beverage equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Maintain a safe environment for all employees and report health and safety violations to the Food and Beverage Supervisor immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Qualifications

Candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. Hours will be based on operational needs.
