Job description

The Opportunity :

Our client, a growing business in the Lower Mainland, is looking to add an IT Manager to their team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a small team while driving the execution of the company’s IT strategy. This is a unique opportunity to modernize and elevate the company's IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery across multiple locations.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Lead and guide the team by providing clear direction, support, and mentorship, which includes conducting training, overseeing performance evaluations, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Develop, execute, and oversee strategic initiatives to integrate and manage information technology systems.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that service expectations are consistently met and proactively address user needs.
  • Oversee partnerships with system providers and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage Windows-based infrastructure, including systems and network administration.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to systems and networks.
  • Administer and manage ERP systems effectively.
  • Handle the administration of Office 365.
  • Occasional travel to other locations within the Lower Mainland and BC will be required.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based applications and systems.
  • Experience supporting IT Service delivery across multiple sites.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach, flexibility, and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and hold a valid BC driver's license.
