We are looking for a Project Estimator to work and support our projects in Western Canada. They are responsible for providing accurate estimates and scope of work to our customers for proposed projects. This individual works closely with Procurement, Operations, and Field Services, to ensure accuracy of quotes; and ensures proper project information is provided to Engineering, Operations, Field Services and Project Management. The Project Estimator provides positive and professional experience to our customers. It is crucial that our Project Estimator promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare accurate proposals from Requests For Quotations from customersWork with Project Management on estimating projectsProvide professional and positive customer experienceProvide expertise knowledge to customers & supervisors to ensure projects are done accurately on budget & on timeManage in-progress jobs; ensuring jobs are complete for deadlines on budget & on timeReview drawings before they go to the shopBalance a workload of multiple projectsInvolved in all stages of the design process from conception to plan presentations, including creation of detailed shop drawingsDevelop extensive knowledge of product line, preferred practices and all applicable industry standardsConduct necessary site visits with Project Management to obtain field measurements in order to complete detailed drawings when necessaryAttend Project Kick-Off meetings as requiredCorrespond with Project Management to ensure design is reflective of the scope of workAlways conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanshipIn accordance with company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the CompanyAll other duties as assignedRequirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of College / University degree or diploma or equivalent job experience3+ years experience in similar estimation roleStrong engineering and manufacturing knowledgeAble to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyCreative thinkerAnalytical mindsetStrong organizational, time and budget management skillsClean driving record and valid driver’s licenseASSETS
