Nanny Wanted - Experienced Nanny Needed In Yaletown, Vancouver Bc Starting September 2025

I am Machiko, a family living in Vancouver, British Columbia (Yaletown). I am looking for a live out nanny to help care for my pre-school aged child for 2 weeks in September (until 12th) until her school starts, and 2 days a week morning care from September 16th (Tuesday& Thursday) after her school starts.

Location : Yaletown (near Roundhouse)

Kids / ages : My daughter is 3 years old

Starting date : September 2nd & September 16th

Hours :

For 2 weeks from September 2nd : M-F from 8 : 30am to2 : 30ish(6 hours)

For 2 days a week (Tuesday & Thursday) from September 16th : 8am to 9 : 30ish

Qualifications :

• 5 years of experienced with 0-36 months age group (preferably if you have some experience in Japan)
• Must speak / read native level of Japanese
• ECE or similar background is preferred
• Provide local references, a recent criminal record (CRC) and background check, and valid first aid / CPR certification
• Able to work legally in Canada
• Familiar with gentle parenting methods, patient and empathetic
• Fully vaccinated

Tasks :

• Feed my daughter lunch and snacks (prepared foods, so you only need to warm them up, not required for actual cooking)
• Take her to the bathroom regularly to maintain her toilet training
• Ensure a safe environment for her development (she is a very active child, so you need to be able to monitor her closely)
• Put her down to nap and maintain a consistent nap schedule
• Be able to actively participate and communicate with her with zero screen time
• Engage in age appropriate reading, learning, arts and crafts, music, active play, outdoor activities and take her to registered classes. We have registered her for various classes, so take her out to the class and bring her back for a nap
• Tidy up after meals and play time

Pay :

Competitive hourly pay ($20 to $25 depending on the experience).
