VACANCY : MIGHTY MARINER MASCOT

We are currently inviting applications for the role of Mighty Mariner, our official club mascot.

As Mighty Mariner, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the matchday experience and creating unforgettable memories for supporters of all ages. From energising the crowd at Blundell Park to representing the Club at community and promotional events, this is a unique opportunity to become a recognisable and much-loved face of Grimsby Town.

This role is ideal for a passionate supporter who enjoys engaging with people, particularly children and families, and who can represent the Club in a fun, positive and professional manner. In addition to matchdays, appearances may include school visits, charity fundraisers, grassroots football events, sponsor activities and local promotional events organised by the Club or the Grimsby Town Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-match activities including fan zones and meet-and-greets
• Pose for photos with supporters before and after matches
• Join players on the pitch for pre-match activities, leading chants and celebrations
• Perform crowd‑engagement routines during breaks in play, including half‑time entertainment
• Attend post‑match fan interactions and community activities as required
• Represent the Club at promotional, sponsor and charity events
• Maintain a positive and welcoming presence within the local community

Hours of work will vary but will typically be around four hours on a matchday.
