ECM / FileNet Architect

Location: Markham, ON

Duration: 6 Months

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise across FileNet, CMOD, and Enterprise Content Management platforms. This role will be responsible for leading solution design, technical architecture, and implementation strategy for large-scale ECM modernization and transformation initiatives within the financial services sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years working with ECM platforms in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with IBM FileNet (priority), IBM CMOD, and ECM frameworks
• Experience architecting solutions in banking or financial services
• Proficiency in solution design, integrations, workflows, and content lifecycle management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with additional ECM platforms and technologies
• Knowledge of cloud-based ECM solutions
• Certification in relevant ECM technologies

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for ECM solutions, focusing on FileNet, CMOD, and related platforms
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable technical architectures
• Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, including integration with enterprise systems
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to best practices
• Conduct system assessments, identify gaps, and propose modernization/optimization strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders including IT leadership, project managers, and vendor partners
• Prepare architectural documentation, design specifications, and technical roadmaps
