Position Overview

Are you passionate about product development and innovation? Do you thrive in a multidisciplinary environment? We are seeking a skilled Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to work on various product development projects, ensuring that they are completed within schedule, budget, and quality constraints. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to bring new products to market and improve existing ones based on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development : Oversee and manage the complete product development process, including the creation of designs, prototype development, and performance testing.
• Problem‑Solving : Troubleshoot new and existing product issues involving designs, materials, and processes, providing creative and cost‑effective solutions.
• Collaboration : Work closely with global suppliers, engineering, product management, operations, and sourcing teams to ensure product success.
• Standards and Evaluation : Establish standards and guidelines for supplier evaluation, and select and periodically review suppliers / vendors.
• Technical Lead in Project Management : Manage technical aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality, technical, and cost requirements.
• Cost Optimization : Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives related to materials, labor efficiency, transportation, and storage.
• Manufacturability : Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that product designs are optimized for manufacturability and operational requirements.
• Testing and Validation : Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that products exceed customer specifications.
• AI Integration : Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall productivity.
