Executive Aviation is for a Ground Handling Lead for our Halifax Below the Wing team at the Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ).

This role reports directly to an amazing Coordinator who is there to support you. What do we offer?

The range of salary for this position is $23.00-$26.60/hour.

Responsibilities : Become person of accountability for each arrival and departure Lead ground handling operation on a daily basis Meet frequently with the Station Manager to review operational and personal performance Ensure all agents are briefed on their anticipated roles Ensure all ground equipment is operational and provide a back-up plan for unserviceable equipment Record daily operations for billing / invoicing Ensure each airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada Drive and operate ramp serving equipment, marshal/wing walk aircraft to gate Sort, load and offload guest baggage in accordance with load plan, deliver guest baggage to claim area and unload onto conveyor system Services aircraft water and lavatories Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor Grooms aircrafts – clean whole cabin, lavatories, restock lavatory with supplies De-icing aircraft and recording deice fluid applications for billing / invoicing and auditing Provide daily vehicle inspections Other tasks as required Qualifications: Minimum 1-year ground handling experience Possess a valid restricted area pass and AVOP (D/A) A positive individual with the ability to lead a team Have a record of safe working habits and personal on-time performance Has displayed great leadership skills, or an interest in learning Possess a valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract Powered by JazzHR
