Job descriptionPrepare estimates and project proposals Take a leading role in maintaining the MTO client relationship Identify and develop new business opportunities, in collaboration with other projects managers Contribute to the leadership of the Transportation Facilities Group Business travel for project meetings and to other Dillon offices upon request. Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development Input to the career development of junior and intermediate staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees. A degree in civil engineering Licensed to practice as a professional engineer in the province of Ontario A minimum of 15 years related work experience Proven leadership and business development capabilities. Proven experience with the MTO environmental assessment process, and preliminary / detail design of provincial facilities infrastructure. Responsibilities
What your day will look like
Project Management & Design
- Management of transportation engineering projects and multidisciplinary project teams (including transportation, bridge, electrical and water resource engineers, transportation systems planners, environmental planners, environmental scientists, technical support staff,
- Continuous development of technical expertise on a variety of transportation engineering projects, environmental assessments, preliminary design, detailed design and construction phase services
- Lead the preparation of technical reports and studies to support the development of transportation designs, including EA documentation
- Lead the preparation of contract documentation, including contract drawings, construction specifications, tender quantity and cost estimates, and working day estimates
- Management and delivery of stakeholder consultation programs and municipal council and agency presentations
- Provide regular and effective communication with clients, develop and oversee project budgets and take overall responsibility for successful project delivery

Compensation :
$100,000 / y - $150,000 / y
Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range, contingent on factors unrelated to an applicant’s gender or other status protected by provincial and / or federal law.
