Millwright Maintenance Technician – Day Shift (Mississauga)

Kelly Services is partnering with a leading food and beverage manufacturer in Mississauga to recruit a Millwright Maintenance Technician . This is a full‑time, straight day shift role offering stability, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

Position Overview

As a Millwright Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining facility infrastructure, equipment, and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. You’ll be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting compliance with food safety and environmental standards.

Schedule & Compensation

Shift : Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shifts
6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM OR 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM
Pay : $38–$40+ per hour (based on licensing and experience)
Employment Type : Full‑time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.

Install, dismantle, and align machinery using precision tools.

Fabricate and weld components as required.

Safely move and position equipment using rigging and lifting systems.

Maintain accurate records in CMMS and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and food safety protocols.

Support production by responding to service calls and facility needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred.

2–4 years of maintenance or facilities experience, ideally in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Proficiency with welding, fabrication, and precision alignment tools.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and commitment to safety.
