SCADA technical expert

In addition to performing tasks related to the position of SCADA designer-programmer, the technical expert (SCADA designer-programmer) acts as the technical leader of the team. He or she actively participates in defining technical standards and methods in his or her area of expertise. They keep up to date with the latest technologies and share their knowledge with colleagues. They also participate in business development efforts.

Roles and responsibilities

The technical expert has the following responsibilities :

Project

• Assist sales activities by offering technological solutions during the project evaluation and estimation process;
• Programming SCADA software (GE suite, Wonderware, Ignition, Factorytalk, etc.);

Performing one or more of the following project functions :

Internal coordination

Support technical authority :
