Mission

I am looking for a CPA accountant for my client who specializes in construction. This is a permanent 40h contract, located close to a metro in the West Island.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prepare accounting entries required for periodic adjustments.

Prepare internal financial statements on a monthly basis.

Prepare monthly closing files.

Conduct variance analyses between actual results, budget forecasts and financial projections, and explain the causes.

Contribute actively to month-end processes and annual closing of accounts.

Support requests for information during tax audits or inspections.

Monitor investments (CAPEX) and fixed assets.

Your profile

SKILLS AND APTITUDES

• Completed bachelor's degree in accounting ;
• CPA designation;
• Relevant accounting experience, ideally between three and five years;
• Experience in the construction industry would be considered an asset;
• Complete mastery of all stages of the accounting cycle;
• Solid command of office automation tools, in particular Word and Excel;
• Knowledge of Yardi software is an advantage;

Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English. (exchanges with English-speaking customers and suppliers).
