(CAN) Grocery Associate

Position Summary

Working as a Grocery Associate at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Grocery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to Walmart’s core values, maintains and zones the grocery area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What You’ll Do

• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups / markdowns, signing / flagging / pricing / labels.
• Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
• Stock merchandise / pick, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, and set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Minimum rate of pay : $16.65 per hour, determined based on relevant experience.
