SharePoint Developer with admin experience - 01081

Our client is seeking a SharePoint Developer with admin experience -

This is approximately a 6 months contract. 40 hours/week. Hybrid 2 days/week in North Vancouver.

Position Specific Skills or Qualifications required:

· Completed an undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution focused in computer science, engineering, business or related field.

· A minimum two years of experience with Javascript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, development in the VS Code / Node.js environment.

· A minimum two years of experience with C# development in Visual Studio, using SharePoint Client API.

· Have experience with SharePoint platform and solution administration.

· Have experience developing applications that use Contentful and Vercel.

· Have experience working with the DITA standard and related authoring and publishing tools.

· Have experience building design prototypes in Axure.

· Have familiarity with legacy technologies ASP and JSP.

· Have familiarity with quality assurance practices related to software development including unit testing, integration testing, and test automations such as Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer.

· Have familiarity with code management or version control tools like GitLab and GitHub.

Accountabilities:

· Support and enhance existing portals and applications.

· Support the migration of SharePoint applications to SharePoint Online.

· Research new Web based solutions by completing POCs and solution documents.

· Provide portal and application solution administration including security and permissions management and search configuration.

Deliverables:

· Migration of current SharePoint Sites and Enterprise Portals and Procedures.

· Support and enhance existing portals and applications.
