Coordinator of Summer Program

One-year mandate August 5, 2026 to August 27, 2027. The Board may choose to extend for a 2nd year without posting. The Lester B. Pearson School Board will be operating summer school and supplemental exam centre at the secondary level. The Summer School Program will run July and August 2026 and 2027, including exams. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and coordinate the delivery of all summer school services from August 5, 2026, to August 27, 2027. The candidate must work 5 transition days during the summer 2026 program. They will be compensated. Dates to be confirmed.

Duties And Responsibilities As Coordinator

• The organization and pedagogical set up for summer school.
• Hiring and overseeing staff.
• Meetings and trainings with administration, teachers, consultants, and support staff.
• Manage payroll.
• Financial planning and execution.
• Manage set up of information systems.
• Solving problems as necessary.
• Visiting centres as required.
• Preparation of marks database for transmission to MEQ.
• Transmit results to schools, students, and parents.
• Coordinate exam review.
• Prepare final report.
