Senior Architect I - Mobile Commerce

About the Team

The Architect partners with delivery teams to architect, design, and build flexible, scalable, and resilient applications and services that can more easily adapt to future business needs. The Mobile App is the guest‑facing iOS and Android application, serving as the front‑end experience for guests to browse, purchase products, and engage with additional features such as Community, Wishlist, Loyalty, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business / functional architecture and strategy for solutions consistent with Lululemon Technology’s enterprise architecture.
• Ensure operational platforms and interfacing data / systems are properly architected from an end‑to‑end perspective.
• Collaborate with domain architects (DevOps, CI / CD, Mobile, DB, and other integrated systems) and development teams to support and guide solution implementations.
• Assist in estimating dev and QA efforts, ensuring proper understanding of implementation scope and adherence to best practices.
• Work with Business Analysts to define and refine technical requirements for future work.
• Translate business functionality into well‑designed solutions within timelines, resources, and quality constraints.
• Produce detailed design documentation; maintain architecture models; ensure required documentation is in Jira and Confluence.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, technologies, and emerging trends.
• Conduct code reviews, collaborate with DevOps and infra teams for backend setup, and coordinate mobile application release processes.
• Advise mobile developers on best practices and architecture usage; monitor resource usage and costs (AWS).

Compensation & Benefits

Typical hiring range : $125,500 – $160,576 annually. Base pay is based on market location and may vary. Eligible for a competitive annual bonus program.

Workplace Arrangement

Hybrid – in‑person collaboration and connection is important to our culture. Work is performed onsite, minimum 4 days per week.
