Position Objective

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering Services, the incumbent works as part of the Engineering Services team to maintain and update the CMMS, Building Asset database, energy and due diligence assurance for Engineering Services throughout the Niagara Health.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the CMMS and building asset database.
• Conduct energy and due diligence assurance activities for Engineering Services.
• Develop policies and procedures in a maintenance environment.
• Perform energy monitoring, regression analysis, budgeting, and models in Excel.
• Update asset database and generate reports for the Engineering Team.
• Modify CAD drawings and update records.
• Monitor, model and budget energy use; real time energy monitoring experience is an asset.
• Use building automation, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) knowledge.
• Create technical and financial models and reports using MS Excel and / or Access.
• Update, run reports, analyze data, develop briefing notes on building asset inventory and lifecycle database.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to physical requirements : bending, prolonged positioning, standing, walking, ladder climbing and overhead work.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle access for inter-site travel.
• Provide effective customer service, with strong communication, leadership, judgment, critical thinking, troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
• Flexible, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain consistent and regular attendance.
• Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset.
