Role
Under the supervision of management, the IT Technician will provide support to clients, particularly in the Valleyfield area. The position requires occasional travel to client sites. For this reason, only candidates located within a “reasonable distance” from our office will be considered.
In addition to client support, the selected candidate will participate in stimulating and varied internal projects.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 IT supportProactively monitor alerts, security, and backupsManage Cloud and hybrid environmentsPrepare, configure, repair, and deploy computers and network equipmentParticipate in the deployment of new environments and the migration of existing client environmentsContribute to client and internal projects in collaboration with the IT leadership teamWrite technical documentation and ensure proper follow‑up with the rest of the teamQualifications
DEC or AEC in IT, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft AzureKnowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune)Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and aboveKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeFunctional knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2003 and above)Functional knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, etc.)Functional networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.)Bilingualism (spoken and written)Valid driver’s licenseAssets
