Position: Engineering Technologist / Electrician

The Automation Group within National Energy Equipment is expanding. We are seeking certified Engineering Technicians or Technologists / Electricians (or related electro-mechanical professionals) to join our highly skilled and motivated team of engineering professionals.

This is a permanent full-time salary position working from NEE’s Mississauga location at 1825 Alstep Drive. The successful candidate will be working on various projects year-round, both indoors and outdoors, and travel throughout North America.

• Member of OACETT, licensed electrician, or related certifications.
• Experience and knowledge in the downstream Petroleum market an asset.

Market Focus

• Bulk Fuel Storage, Fuel Terminals, Fuel Trucks, Aviation, Marine, Rail Facilities and wastewater.
• Refined Fuels –Propane –Lubricants -Petrochemicals.
• Custody Transfer.

Duties Include:

• Construction: Installation of cable and tray, conduit work, control panel fabrication and wiring, pipe, tubing and equipment installation,
• Interpretation and markup of electrical and instrumentation drawings,
• Troubleshooting of electrical and control systems, pumps, control valves and related equipment,
• Installation and setup of VFD’s and MOV’s, PLC’s, HMI’s and tank level systems,
