3D / ML SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

THE ROLE :

To rapidly learn new methods (e.g. from open-source code and academic papers), develop prototypes, invent new techniques and help put the best ones in production.

THE PERSON :

We are looking for highly motivated and passionate programmer in 3D graphics and ML software. You must love solving technical problems, think outside the box, and be versatile enough to go where the challenges take you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Part of a high-impact project that exploits ML for 3D graphics
  • Familiarize yourself with our codebase and some of its underlying technologies, (e.g. : nbdev, fastai, pytorch and Julia) if you haven't previously used them
  • Implement new features, analyze their impact on the problem
  • Read papers, invent and implement new insights, run experiments and help us reach our objective asap
  • Discuss with other teams, e.g. 3D graphics HW and SW architects, designers, to help improve our SW and upcoming HW
  • Once a reasonably optimal solution has been validated and productization is well underway, maintain and keep improving it for the next versions, or to move with some team members that combines 3D graphics and ML

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

  • A proven expertise is required in 3D graphics or Deep Learning, Python 3.x or Julia
  • 3D graphics algorithms, APIs, game development, C++ and other high-performance languages experience
  • Experience programming any of the following : Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, advanced math
  • Experienced with Windows and Linux operating systems, PC system setup and troubleshooting.
  • Portfolio of original, technically-challenging personal programming projects, or contribution to open-source projects

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :

Bachelor's / master's in computer engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
