Journeyman Plumber - Lead Hand

Your day-to-day will look like :

• Organize & maintain scheduled installations of building mechanical systems
• To install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner in accordance with Specifications, Drawings, Site Instructions, Approved Change Orders / Directives.
• Report directly to Superintendent for mentorship as needed.
• Diagnoses design issues regarding plumbing, gas, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and / or components for the purpose of identifying problems and needs necessary for the design intent to work properly
• Supervise workers and projects, train or arrange training, coordinate manpower pertaining to the contract with the developer / general contractor
• Responsible for testing all mechanical systems meeting local jurisdictions and engineer specifications
• To impart to the Superintendent or Project Management team any efficiencies or cost saving measures felt necessary to maximize project effectiveness. To work in a safe and timely manner and report to the Site Supervisor / PM team any inability to do so.
• Ability to read an interpret drawings / schematics and specifications as required.
